- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I've never been so disappointed after visiting a National Park than here. How private citizens are/were permitted to build on a National Heritage site is inexcusable. Check google maps/imagery. Other than that, the staff was great, and the history is powerful, but I can't get over the homes built on a Fort that was involved in a war that shaped our country. Maybe it is because I live near Fort Erie, Fort George and Fort Niagara, and I am spoiled by their undisturbed lands.By Ernest Poirier, May 14, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We are making it a point to try and visit as many National sites and parks this year and Fort Malden was a very unique stop. It was before the opening of the season so we did a self guided tour and red as many of the signs that we could. Lot's of things to look at, we hope to return the season to see the inside of the museums.By Paul Pickett, April 19, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This historic site was closed for the season until May however we self guided ourselves back into time to view and read the history of the battlefront from the outside. Plentiful informational signs to assist guiding us in front of each historic building. Would love to return in the summer to have a guided tour of the museum and army barracks.By Natalie Mihaly, January 29, 2017
